Special Format Tile Range

What we call special format are tiles that are different from the typical square, rectangle or a specific mixed sizes of tiles that come in a pattern you would typically see installed. 

The most common special format you might see will be the herringbone, chevron and the small hexagon mosaic tiles, the more unusual special formats you might see will be larger 10-15cm side hexagons and oblong hexagons, the even more eccentric ones in our selection will be our pattern mix chevron mosaics, our basket weave polished mosaic and target polished mosaics.

The special format tiles are just that, once installed in any area they not only change the look and feel of an area but with how unusual they are, they always help create a conversation when you have visitors come around.

Now imagine our oblong hexagons in your bathroom complemented by normal hexagons on the floor, the thought of it alone can help imaginations run wild, the oblong shapes help give you that extended wall look, this always helps with smaller areas.

The herringbones are uniquely special in that they can not only be installed in the chevron arrangement but can also be installed alongside each other either vertically or horizontally to help with the appearance of dimensions in the environment very  similar to the oblong hexagon effect.

Our basket weave range comes in 2 options, our Silver Tundra - Nero Marquina Basketweave Marble Polished Mosaic and our Botticino - Nero Marquina Basketweave Polished Mosaic. They are made up of rectangular and square tiles on a mosaic mesh with the arrangement giving the illusion of a basket. They are the preferred choice for customers looking for that unusual and attractive splash back in kitchens or a wider surface installation in bathrooms.

We then have the more subtlety arranged Crema Marfil Premium - Nero Marquina Target Polished Mosaic, quite similar to our basket weave range however we have the rectangular tiles circling the squares here which give can give some that focused Dalmatian look and feel.

Our Pattern Mixed Chevron Mosaic comes in both polished and honed finish and seems to be more unique than most, it not only comes with variant width of small chevron shapes, but they are also in varying colours and come on a mesh, now usual installation for these will be with point up but if you let your imagination take over, the more unusual method of installation could be directional as in pointing towards an area like shower or bath or the rear garden or living room in a kitchen as a guidance. A multi-purpose installation if you will.
