Q :What tile adhesive and grout do you recommend with the Classic Travertine - filled - honed please? Also which colour grout is the best match/generally used? Thanks

A :Thank you for your enquiry and interest in our products. Adhesive and grout are often personal preferences. However, we have found that customers generally go for a lighter-coloured adhesive and grout for lighter-coloured tiles. If the tiles are going on the wall, we recommend standard set adhesive as it has stickier properties to hold tiles in place longer, making their installation easier. We sell both fast and standard sets white adhesive.

Q :Hi can these be used as wall and floor tiles for a bathroom? Many thanks

A :Hello Kate, yes these tiles can be used on the bathroom floor and walls however, we would not recommend them to be used on the floor of wet areas such as walk-in or enclosed shower areas as they are not anti-slip certified.

Q :Hello, I’m looking for travertine filled & honed tiles in 600x400mm size exactly; to replace a broken one. Cannot find this size anywhere. Can you cut yours 610x406 down to 600x400?

Q :Hi, could you tell me what your delivery times are from placing the order? I am looking at the 400x600 classic travertine floor tiles.

A :Hi Vicki, if you can put the item of interest into your basket and the stock is available, our standard delivery time is 3-5 working days from the date of shipment, if your postcode is within the next-day delivery option areas then orders that are placed before mid-day (12:00 pm) will be dispatched the same working day (Mon-Fri) and delivered the next working day for you. Q :Do you have any standard patterns that use the three different sizes?

A :Hello and thank you for your question. Unfortunately, all the pattern layouts we have on our website include 4 or more different size tiles. We would not do a layout for only 3 sizes. We do apologise for this.

A :Hello, thank you for your question. The only sizes available are the ones listed with the product meaning unfortunately, we would not do this tile in a 305x610x12mm size, we do apologise.

Q :Could I use these tiles outside?

A :Hello Ms Shovlin, Thank you for your question, We do not recommend this tile be used outside as its thickness is only 12mm and outdoor tiles we recommend being an minimum of 20mm as if less than this they will not cope with the temperature when it freezes the tiles can break and crack.

Q :Is this product suitable for use with underfloor heating - Ive had underfloor heating with the cheaper unfilled travertine in my last house very successfully and thinking of upgrading to the honed and filled this time around. Thanks

A :Hello, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not advise the use of underfloor heating with the Classic Travertine filled and honed tiles, this is due to the amount of filler used to fill the holes of the tiles. Please note all our other travertine tiles are suitable with the use of underfloor heating. Many thanks. Shaz

A :Hello Mark Not quite sure what you mean with "packs" these tiles are sold per m2 , 8 tiles make 1.115 m2 Hope this is helpful.

A :Good afternoon, Many thanks for your email. Unfortunetly the classic travertine tiles are not suitable for underfloor heating due to the amount of fillers in the tile this is will not conduct heat very and the fillers may pop out. Many thanks.
