Delivery Information

Delivery Information Tile pallets are generally very heavy & bulky. All deliveries are contracted out to nationwide haulage network and by HGV's with a tail lift, orders will be off-loaded at the nearest kerbside to your property. As the drivers are not insured to bring orders into your property, please make sure suitable arrangement to bring your order into the property on their arrival. Please also advise when placing the order, if there are parking restrictions, small lanes, low bridges etc. that will hinder or delay your order delivery.

Economy Service
Orders will be delivered within 3 to 5 working days from dispatch date. Local delivery company will call and book in a delivery date with you. Delivery times are between 7am and 6pm (please call for more details, if you need any more information or you have got special needs).

Next Day Service
Deliveries will be made on the next working day from dispatch date. Delivery times are between 7am and 6pm (please call for more details, if you need any more information or you have got special needs).

AM Delivery
For a small additional charge paid during the ordering process, your order can be delivered before 1pm on a working day. Please note that this service is only available in addition to the “next day” delivery service and not the “standard delivery” service

Saturday Delivery
With a small surcharge, your order can be delivered on a chosen Saturday. Please note this service also is only available with the “next day” delivery service where a date for delivery can be selected by the customer during the ordering process.

Re-deliveries
You or somebody you nominate must be at the delivery site to receive, check and sign for your order. Orders will not be left on site without a signature. If, at the time of delivery, no one is on site to provide a signature for delivery, orders will be taken back to the local depot and you will be charged a re-delivery charge before a re-attempt of delivery of your order.

Damages & Claims
Tiles are fragile by nature, especially natural stone tiles. Even though we try our level best to prevent any breakages during transportation, it might occur from time to time due to mishandling of pallet(s) by hauliers / couriers. When you receive a delivery, you must follow the guidelines explained below, otherwise you might not be covered for replacements in the event of any breakages:

1) Check the tiles and the condition of the pallet(s). Normally, damages might occur on the top side and along the edges of a palletised item, therefore please remove the packaging and check to see if there are visible damages.

2) Check if the packaging is tempered with. If that is the case, do not accept the delivery.

3) Sign the delivery note. If there are any damages, the delivery note must be signed as “DAMAGED” or “DAMAGES”. If the delivery note is signed “UNCHECKED”, you may not be covered for replacements, as this does not confirm or indicate that there are damaged items on order at the time of delivery.

4) You must report the damages within 48 hours. Also please take pictures of the damaged items and the condition of the pallet(s) as this will help with your claim.

Delivery Delays
Our deliveries are contracted to a national transport company. There are many parties involved in making of our deliveries (from central hubs to local depots etc.) therefore, in exceptional circumstances, even though a delivery date may be agreed upon with a customer, delays may sometimes occur, in these rare instances, our company can't be held responsible for any kind of damage or delay in receiving an order. For any such delays, we will always do our best to update customers with any new information. We recommend that delivery delays are taken into consideration when arranging dates for tilers or developers on site.
