Damages & Claims
Tiles are fragile by nature, especially natural stone tiles. Even though we try our level best to prevent any breakages during transportation, it might occur from time to time due to mishandling of pallet(s) by hauliers / couriers. When you receive a delivery, you must follow the guidelines explained below, otherwise you might not be covered for replacements in the event of any breakages:
1) Check the tiles and the
condition of the pallet(s). Normally damages might occur on the top side
and along the edges therefore please remove the packaging and check if
there are visible damages.
2) Check if the packaging is tempered with. If it is the case, do not accept the delivery.
3) Sign the delivery note. If
there are any damages, the delivery note must be signed as DAMAGED. If the
delivery note is signed UNCHECKED, you may not be covered for
replacements.
4) You must report the damages
within 72 hours. Also please take pictures of the damaged items and the
condition of the pallet(s) as this will help with your claim.
Delivery Delays
Our deliveries are contracted to national transport companies. There are
many parties involved in deliveries (from local depots, hubs etc) therefore in
exceptional circumstances, delays might occur even though a delivery date is
agreed upon. In these rare instances, our company can't be held responsible for
any kind of damage or delay. Please do not book any tilers or contractors until
the tiles are delivered safe and secure.
