Order received before Christmas as promised, 1 or 2 broken sheets in the boxes but having worked with claddings before, I know this is expected, we simply used them as smaller pieces.Multicolour Slate Cladding Panels - Riven5 1
The tiles are fantastic and the staff were very helpful. A small delay in the delivery but all were received intact.Multicolour Slate Cladding Panels - Riven4 1

Q :I was hoping to use these as kitchen splashback tiling around the kitchen 200mm high. Would I be able to arrange the cladding in that formation or will they only arrange to cover a full wall? Also, what you recommend as a finish for the top of the tiles? Thanks, Chris.
A :Hi Christopher, these claddings come in a smaller Z shape unlike full-size tiles, these small Z shapes slot into each other and they are quite flexible to use on any size wall or area. As a top finish, we have had customers that either use a wood trip as a border or tile all the way up to the edge of the wall, traditional border strips tend not to work as well with claddings due to the varying thickness of the individual pieces. We hope this is helpful information.

Q :Probably a silly question, but are the tiles individual block pieces or several block pieces on some kind of a backing mesh?
A :Hello, thank you for your question. These tiles would come on a backing mesh and would be in a Z formation so that they all slot together on the wall. We hope this helps

Q :Hi, 2 questions: How many come in a box. I only need a small splash back of 400mm x 300mm. How much would delivery be for that. Richard
A :Hello, Thank you for your question, the box quantity for the Cladding is 10 per box. Delivery is set by our hauliers and is based on your postcode and the space on the lorry your order would take, once you have entered the items into the basket and you view the basket the website will ask for the delivery postcode it will calculate it for you. We hope this has helped.

Q :What is the thickness of these tiles?
A :Hello Tom, Thank you for your question, these are cladding so the thickness will vary individual pieces can be as thick as 12mm down to 9mm which is the standard. We hope this has been helpful.

Q :Hi would we be able to apply these to a curved wall? We want to ideally clad a curved set of steps. Thanks Caroline
A :Hello Caroline. This item comes in a rigid Z shape that slots into each other to form the overall wall installation, though you can install on a very slightly curved wall, there is a limit to the curvature degree these tiles can be installed on due to their rigid form. We hope this is helpful information.

Q :Im thinking of buying these tiles to make a feature wall in my lounge. Are they easy to cut and what type of cutter should be used please ?
A :Good afternoon, Thank you for your question. They are easy to cut providing the correct tools are used, we kindly recomend to consult a tiler for the correct tools to be used for cutting these tiles however, usual natural stone cutting blades and tools are the options that tilers tend to pick. Many thanks.

Q :Great prices on tiles but £56 delivery? I only need 2 m2 probably best finding some closer to home so I can collect. Ive shipped PCs and servers for £15-£20 maybe review your shippers.
A : Hello Mark, we use a third party haulage company that use forklifts and larger lorries who specialise in transporting such fragile items, respectfully this is a bit different then shipping PCs, the prices depend on the post code and number of pallets that orders will need to be sent out on. Kind regards.

Q :Hello I have a fire place back 85cm height by 74cm - I think its 0.77 m2 - not sure what pack sizes this comes in/how much do I need to order - confusing? BR - Sarah
A :Hello Sarah Thank you for your interest in our product and we hope you are well. This product is sold per m2 therefore you only need to measure the square meters you wish to cover with our item and input that into our website, we would like to remind you that due to possible wastage during installation tilers usually add around 10% to orders. We will then send the required number of tiles to cover the ordered m2. We hope this is helpful information.

Q :Would these be suitable to use behind a wood burning stove?

Clare Bray
Q :Does it come in a long rectangle or has it got a staggered end either end
A :Hi Ms Bray, these tiles come in the market standard z shape, hope this is helpful.
Wilma
Q :Are these suitable for outdoors
A :Good day Wilma These tiles can not be grouted therefore although we have had customers installing them outdoor in the past, the installation has to be done professionally with a waterproof membrane. Also we do not recommend them being exposed to rain as over time this will help build up of mould between the tiles. Hope this is helpful.
