A cost effective alternative to Brazilian black slate. These slate tiles have mixture of natural colours, from green - grey to black. A true natural combination.
Even though the tiles are calibrated to 10mm - 12 thickness, due to the natural riven finish, thickness variances should be expected.

Placed a 2 pallet order for a large area, with this type of item you tend to order extra to calculate for breakages even during transport, a bit surprised there were only 2 tiles in 2 full pallets that were damaged coming from an online store. For people with no experience in the sector, let me tell you, 2 damaged tiles during delivery, out of over 700 tiles is nothing, we used them for cuts aw. We bought the 300 x 300 this time but are planning to buy the larger tiles to use in another area very soon.5 1
We bought it for a small area, I am very satisfied with this stone. We are now planning a larger area to use this in, we will order again.5 1
Our second positive experience ordering from Travertine Store. Easy to navigate site. Extremely helpful essential items suggestion box for someone like me. Delivered within 3 days. We went for this darker tile for our kitchen, very natural surface though we recommend sealing them regularly.5 1

Q :Can these be used outside as paving? i have used brazilian before but not indian.
A :Hello, Thank you for your question, unfortunately these tiles are only 10mm thick and are not suitable for use outside use. We do recommend tiles to be minimum of 20mm for outside use. I hope this has been helpful.

Q :What is the slip rating for Nero mix black slate tiles.
A :Hello Mandy This item does not have a slip-resistant grade as such however, the natural matt finish with its riven surface makes these tiles much less slippery than most of the hone/matt finish tiles. We hope this is helpful information.
Jay
Q :How many of each size of tile in a metre squared (as sold) rather than a square metre? Thanks.
