We are extremely happy with our purchase from Stone Deals. We preferred the darker tone of the noce range compared to the lighter travertine they have listed.Noce Brick Travertine Mosaic - Tumbled5 1
Our call was handled professionally with helpful advice, our order got delivered on the 3rd day which is sooner than we expected. The mosaics are used as a splashback in our kitchen and they look amazing.Noce Brick Travertine Mosaic - Tumbled5 1
We placed a small order and noticed a 1 or 2 sheets had cracked tiles on them, using these werent a problem as we cut them down to size for edges of the wall but, this is still something we had to deal with, overall however, we are satisfied with the tiles and delivery service.Noce Brick Travertine Mosaic - Tumbled4 1

Q :Hi there - i'm considering buying these to tile as a fireplace surround - would they be suitable for this? are they heat resistant? Many thanks
A :Hello, Thank you for your question. Our tiles are not heat rated however providing they are not in direct contact with a heat source i.e FLame they should be fine

Q :I am trying to match these tiles up to existing tiles originally purchased from another supplier. The existing tiles have a grout line spacing of 2mm. Is that the case with these tiles? I have not installed tiles on a mesh before. Do I need to put spacers between the tiles on the mesh, as one would do when fixing normal tiles? What depth of tile adhesive should I use? Is a 4mm notched trowel suitable or should I use something bigger? Finally, what tile adhesive would you recommend? Thank you
A :Hello thank you for your question. our mosaic tiles do come on a mesh backing and the space between the individual tiles is approx. 2mm. with regards to installations we recommend you seek advice from a professional tiler as we are only suppliers of the stone. We have adhesive on our website which is suitable to use with all our tiles and here is the link to the webpage https://www.travertinetilesuk.com/tile-adhesives.html. We hope this has been helpful, if we can be of any further assistance please feel free to contact us.

Q :Hi there, What grout colour would you recommend with these tiles? We are planning to use them on the floor of a wet room. Many thanks
A :Hello Jess, within our selection of grout colours, our customers normally go for the Ivory or Beige grout for this item. We hope this is helpful.

Q :Hi, What size tile spacers should I use with these? many thanks
A :Hi Jon For normal tiles the minimum recommended grouting gap is 2mm however with mosaic tiles they naturally have grouting gaps between each tile on the sheets during the manufacturing process, it is advised that these gaps are maintained between each sheet of mosaic when laying them down or installing them on walls for better aesthetics. We hope this is helpful.

Q :Hi, What thickness are these mosaics please? Many thanks Adam
A :Hi Adam All mosaics usually come in the 10 mm thickness as is the case with our Noce mosaics, we hope this is helpful.

Q :Hi - We are considering using these tiles in our kitchen. Do they need to be sealed after they have been fixed? Look forward to hearing from you soon. Robin J Flux
A :Hello, Many thanks for your question. Yes, we kindly recommend all natural stones to be sealed before and after grouting, and then once every year for maintance. Please kindly find the link below to all our sealers. https://www.travertinetilesuk.com/tile-sealers.html Many thanks.
